Glass Bottles (Non-Deposit), Jugs and Jars

Clear, green, blue and brown bottles, jugs and jars may be recycled via the curbside "blue box" recycling program. These containers should be rinsed clean with caps and lids attached.  

Also accepted at all ecopark collections. Click here to view hours of operation.

NOTE:  Window glass, drinking glasses, pyrex containers, microwave oven glass trays, incandescent light bulbs, etc. have a different chemical composition and melting point than store-bought glass bottles, jugs and jars, and are NOT accepted for recycling curbside (or at the ecopark) and must be disposed of in the regular trash.

Open to the public with reduced disposal rates for residents of Perinton and Macedon (see its website for instructions). Household recyclables can be dropped off free-of-charge regardless of residency.
