Click here for a full list. Items must be clean and dry with no food residue. Material not accepted includes: bags that contained chemicals, feed, soil, mulch, frozen foods, fuel pellets or material that is wet or odorous. Foil snack bags and baloons (Mylar) are NOT accepted.

NYS Plastic Bag Reduction, Reuse and Recycling Act requires most larger stores and retail chains providing plastic shopping bags to customers to set up a plastic bag/wrap recycling program.
