    Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks today announced that Rochester Precision Optics, LLC (RPO) has been named Monroe County’s "Business of the Month"
     
    Rochester Precision Optic’s acquisition of a portion of Kodak’s manufacturing assets has positively impacted our local economy by recovering lost jobs and maintaining our region’s manufacturing capabilities," said Monroe County Executive Brooks. "I am proud to have such a remarkable company here in Monroe County and I thank Bill Hurley for his continued commitment and investment in our community."

  • Mastro Graphic Arts, Inc.
     
    Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks today announced that Mastro Graphic Arts, Inc. (MGA) has been named Monroe County’s "Business of the Month"

    Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks today announced that INDE has been named Monroe County’s "Business of the Month".  INDE is a one-stop home redesign center that specializes in remodeling projects with a focus on new kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and finished basements.

    Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks today announced that Pactech Packaging, Inc. (Pactech) has been named Monroe County’s "Business of the Month" and is featured on Monroe County’s website, monroecounty.gov.  Pactech was founded in 1991 and is a local supplier of innovative flexible packaging solutions.

  • Mahany Welding Supply
     
    County Executive Maggie Brooks today announced that Mahany Welding Supply (Mahany) has been named Monroe County’s "Business of the Month".   Founded in 1946, Mahany specializes in the distribution, sale and servicing of welding related supplies and equipment.
     
    Mahany also offers a variety of welder training courses that include: day clinics, night courses, collegiate and vocational courses through Monroe Community College and RIT, and professional welder qualification programs.  Mahany has trained over 3,000 welders in the past ten years.
     
    "Mahany is an incredibly unique small business that puts Monroe County on the map in a number of different ways," said County Executive Brooks.  "Skilled welders are currently in high demand in our region.  Through a wide-variety of training programs, Mahany Welding Supply is helping local employers fill a critical void while also connecting people with skilled jobs."

    Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks today announced that Six Month Smiles, Inc. has been named Monroe County’s “Business of the Month”.
    Six Month Smiles was founded by Dr. Ryan Swain in 2006, after he developed a revolutionary product which offers a quicker alternative to adult cosmetic orthodontics.
     
    “Six Month Smiles is an incredibly unique small business that has enhanced our region’s reputation as a place that fosters the spirits of entrepreneurship and innovation,” said Monroe County Executive Brooks.  “Dr. Swain has put Monroe County on the map in a number of ways, and I am truly grateful for his continued investment in our local economy through job creation and global business development.”

    County Executive Maggie Brooks today announced that Harris RF Communications (Harris RF) has been named Monroe County’s “Business of the Month” for March of 2013.
     
    “Harris RF Communications is a company that puts our community on the map and I’m proud to name Harris as Monroe County’s ‘Business of the Month,’” said Brooks. “I recently had the opportunity to tour the company’s facilities in Rochester and see firsthand the important work done here.
