STANDING COMMITTEES
Data Committee
The Data Committee assists the Monroe County Early Intervention Program in various areas including articulating research questions and corresponding data variables, determining performance outcome measures and reviewing and critiquing the EI program data collection.
Parent Involvement Committee
The Parent Involvement Committee assists the Monroe County Early Intervention Program in various areas including addressing the ongoing task of recruitment of parents for the LEICC, update and maintain the Family Resource Directory, meeting regularly with several parent support groups to continue to bring parent views to the Council and providing transition training for parents.
Quality Improvement Committee
The Quality Improvement Committee assists the Monroe County Early Intervention Program in various areas including assisting EI Supervisors in creating a summary tool of all Record Reviews completed within a quarter and then submitted to EI Management and the QI Committee, working with EI Supervisors on maintaining program quality and follow up on quality improvement suggestions and developing an internal Monroe County QI Quality Review which complements IPRO.
Transition Committee
The Transition Committee assists the Monroe County Early Intervention Program with continuous improvement of the Transition process. Focus groups, training, ongoing communication, and following up on implementation of changes recommended are past techniques. Input from all stakeholders (parents, CPSE chairs, service coordinators and providers) is especially valuable.
