MISSION: |
The Local Early Intervention Coordinating Council (LEICC) comprised of community representatives and parents, advises the Early Intervention Program in developing, maintaining and evaluating a system of early intervention services responsive to the needs of children birth through two with developmental delays and their and their families in Monroe County. |

What is the LEICC? |
A group of professionals and parents who meet 4 times each year to discuss issues concerning the operation of the Early Intervention Program. There are 4 subcommittees who meet more often and work together on projects they feel are important to improve the quality of the Early Intervention Program operation. They are: Quality Assurance, Parent Involvement, Data, Transition. |

Reimbursement is available for parents to help defray child care and transportation costs. If you are unable to join the LEICC or work on a subcommittee but you have an issue you would like addressed, you can call Kathy to discuss your issue and it will be brought to the group for attention. |
