Irondequoit Bay Marine Park
Irondequoit Bay Marine Park contains 30 acres and has access to Irondequoit Bay, which empties into Lake Ontario.
Location and Directions
Irondequoit Bay Marine Park is located in the northern part of the county on the West side of Irondequoit Bay at the outlet to Lake Ontario. Enter the park either from Culver Road, or route 590 North.
The Boat Launch at Irondequoit Bay Marine Park is open seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year.
The launch is open every day, starting in late spring, from 6am to 8pm. A season pass for the boat launch is $100 or $65 for seniors (ages 62 and up). The regular charge is $5 per launch, $8 weekends and holidays, and can be paid with cash, check, or card. The seasonal passes allow access to this boat launch as well as the Port of Charlotte/ Ontario Beach Park launch on River Street.
Boat Launch (motorized boats): The boat launch at Irondequoit Bay Marine Park will open for the season around Memorial Day (fees will apply at that time). Until then, the launch is not staffed, and can be used as-is. There will be one dock in place soon. Meantime, you can also put-in at the boat launch at the Port of Charlotte, near Ontario Beach Park, any time of year. That launch is managed by the City of Rochester.

Rules and Regulations
Irondequoit Bay Marine Park is open daily 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. and has a carry in-carry out rule, which means you must take all your garbage with you for disposal after leaving the park. All pets must be leashed and you are responsible for cleaning up after them.
