The Monroe County Sports Commission (MCSC) invites you to “Come Out and Play!” in Rochester, New York! Greater Rochester is an ideal place to hold a sporting event. Centrally located in Upstate New York, Monroe County is nestled along the southern shore of beautiful Lake Ontario and is bisected by the Genesee River and the historic Erie Canal.
Our game plan is to bring organized sporting events, clinics and conventions to Rochester, New York. The Monroe County Sports Commission has partnered with the Greater Rochester Visitors Association to ensure that all sporting events hosted in Rochester are a complete success from start to finish. MCSC is a proud member of theNational Association of Sports Commissions (NASC).

Through our experience in sports event planning, we can help make your event a success in Rochester, New York. Services provided by the Monroe County Sports Development Corporation include:

The Fishery Advisory Board is appointed by the County Legislature to advise the Legislature, as well as other government agencies, organizations and residents on matters affecting the fishery resource in Monroe County.
The Board meets the second Monday of every month, except in October, which is the third Monday, at 7:00 p.m. at the Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office, 740 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, New York.
