New York State Sheriff's Association Honors Five From the Monroe County Sheriff's Office
The New York State Sheriff’s Association Awards Committee has completed their deliberations and nominated the following individuals for statewide recognition:
2011 DEPUTY OF THE YEAR
Deputy Jonathan W. Strong, Monroe County
Deputy Michael Burger, Oneida County
Deputy Ralph J. Bartlett, Warren County
CIVIL DEPUTY OF THE YEAR
Deputy Philip Gombatto, Monroe County
CORRECTION OFFICER OF THE YEAR
Sergeant Terry C. Hayes, Monroe County
COURT OFFICER OF THE YEAR
Deputy Frank L. Trinca, Monroe County
VINE COORDINATOR OF THE YEAR
Mr. Edward Ignarri, Monroe County
The recipients were recognized on Tuesday, January 25 at the Desmond Hotel, in Colonie, New York. The award presentations were held in conjunction with the New York State Sheriff’s Association Winter Training Conference, attended by Sheriff’s from across New York State.
