Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Specialist
Description of Duties
This position, located in numerous departments at Monroe County, is responsible for overseeing the ongoing configuration and maintenance of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Duties include customizing and configuring workflow and solutions to facilitate ERP integration with other applications, analyzing data and developing processes to meet user requirements, as well as providing technical support, testing, and training. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of, a higher-level staff member.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements on or before the date of the written exam:
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus EITHER:
- Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in a human resources, accounting, business, or information technology field, plus one (1) year paid full-time or its part-time equivalent* experience in human resources, information technology, or working directly with an enterprise resource planning system; OR,
- Graduation with an Associate’s degree in a human resources, accounting, business, or information technology field, plus two (2) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent* experience as described in (A) above; OR,
- Four (4) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent* experience described in (A) above; OR,
- An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B) and (C) above.
Note: Your degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. Secretary of Education.
