Flu is still circulating in Monroe County but at much lower levels than at year's end. Flu can linger through May so if you still have not gotten vaccinated there is time to benefit. Vaccine is still available in the community (pharmacies, doctor's offices, etc). In addition to vaccnation, wash hands thoroughly and frequently, cover your cough, and stay home from work or school if sick. The very young and the very old are at greatest risk.  Protect yourself and your family, get a flu shot!
